Just a note: the pictures that show General Patton in front of the American flag, show the *wrong* flag. What is shown is the modern 50-state flag, which has only existed since the addition of Hawaii in 1959. Patton passed away in 1945, when there were only 48 states. You can tell the difference by the pattern of the field of stars.
